Stereotype Gen Z
Every "Goes to Campus" event we organize brings valuable lessons as part of our broader efforts to promote and socialize renewable energy to the public. Just like the latest Aneka EBT Goes to Campus at Universitas Jambi. This time, we managed the event without collaborating with an external event organizer, relying instead on the organizing committee from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Jambi, comprised of lecturers and students.
I've heard plenty of stereotypes about Gen-Z and their supposed inability to work effectively ✌😅 . However, the Gen-Z committee proved those stereotypes wrong. Faced with technical challenges, they confidently decided on solutions and demonstrated their effectiveness in practice. They were also quick to respond when asked to locate specific solutions. Despite the limitations, I’m grateful that the Aneka EBT Goes to Campus event at Universitas Jambi was a lively success.
I also had a new experience—becoming a game master all by myself. Usually, I have a partner when hosting games, but this time, I managed solo. Thankfully, the participants were highly engaged, as shown by the Kahoot scores from the quiz based on our speakers' presentations.
A special shout-out to Edo Ronaldo, who graciously agreed to be a speaker and share insights on opportunities for young people in the energy transition. This was no small feat, especially since he had just returned from London.
Hats off to the Universitas Jambi Gen-Z committee for making the Aneka EBT Goes to Campus at Universitas Jambi such a success!
